Helloooooooo!
The latest bit of news: I am officially under 32. Hurray! After being selected for the Young Artist Grant by the DCCAH I was cordially asked to collaborate with two extraodinary artists, Sia Tiambi Barnes and Aaron Thompson. The song is called “Concrete Lizard”. Check it out 32 UNDER 32!
Another bit of news is that the animated 3D lizard for the upcoming video “AlphaBeat” is almost done along with the background images. I can’t tell you how stinkin’ cute it is… Very exciting!
Come see me at my next show! Or this one! And say “hi”! I’d love to meet you and tell you how AWESOME YOU ARE !
More soon (ish).

Howdy doo everyone! Wow, so many wonderful things to report, where to start?
Well, it just so happens that my debut album AlphaBeat is fresh from the mastering studio and boy oh girl, it sounds splendorific! We’re putting the finishing touches on the graphics, layout and artwork. It will be done sooner than you can say hoobily-wonky-dilly-zoinkums.
Check out the latest DCCAH (DC Commission on Arts and Humanities) promotional flyer.

It’s me! Can you see me? I’m the one with the keyboard and microphone rockin’ out with some of the other Young Artist Grantees. It was a beautiful day for a photo shoot and lots of fun meeting new artists who are all doing interesting and arty things in DC. Be on the lookout for yours truly in the upcoming Washington City Paper.
Have you seen me play a live show yet? Whether we’re dancing to the AlphaBeat or visiting imaginary beaches it’s always tons of fun for kids and adults! You can find me at Sticky Fingers Bakery in Columbia Heights every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at 10am. And guess what??? You get 10% off cafe drinks when I’m in the house. Can you believe it? It’s true! The seats fill up fast so get there early and snack on some yummy treats and delicious discounted latte’s. Mmmmm.
What happens when two Moms, who love music and know how to throw a party get together? BOOGIE BABES! They recently invited me to play at a fun new cafe/bar on H Street called Toyland. It was a blast! Tomorrow (June 4th) I’ll be rocking out at Sova. Can’t wait!
Check out my calendar for up-to-date show listings. Also, if you have an upcoming event, party or just wanna hang out with a singing lizard, reach out and grab me with the cunning use of the internet’s inter-waves.
My last bit of news is big. Really big. Gargantuan, ginormous, elephanty BIG. Are you ready for it? OK, there is a top secret 3-D lizard being created (right now!) by a team of super talented animators. The 3-D lizard is the cutest little thing I’ve ever seen and it’s going to be the star in my new music video AlphaBeat. It’s going to be the coolest music video since [enter your favorite music video]. Oh yeah… as cool as that.
See ya soon!
Love,
The Singing Lizard
